Three Ways We Block Abundance

We frequently BLOCK abundance by not trusting our own power, and instead seeking power externally. As a result, we look at where we are and judge it as not enough. Creating abundance can be EASY, even though the ego would like us to think that it’s hard.

Do you ever feel like there is something blocking your ability to attract wealth and abundance? You’ve read all the books on the Law of Attraction and financial freedom, but things aren’t working out and maybe you are losing hope that you can do it.

Well, what if we looked at things differently. Maybe we are blocking abundance simply by seeking power from outside of ourselves.

Let me explain. I believe we frequently BLOCK abundance by not understanding, nor trusting, our own power. And to make matters worse, we look at where we are currently with such harsh judgement – I’m not good enough, smart enough, rich enough.

You see, creating abundance is more than trusting the Law of Attraction, it is trusting ourselves and understanding our own power.

The key to creating abundance is tapping into that innate power to create what we desire.

Creating abundance can be EASY, even though the ego (or our human mind) would like us to think that it’s hard.

The Three Ways We Block Abundance

1) Power:

Society gives us many mixed messages, but the most damaging message is that we are not powerful enough to create what we want.

Think about the stories we tell:

  • You have to be lucky
  • Only the rich get richer
  • Life is hard

These beliefs are simply not true. It’s NOT hard and yes, we DO deserve it.

The rich get richer because they believe they can create wealth.

The good news is that you can train yourself to believe this too. We already have the power to create what we want, as our Prosperity Challenge community has learned.

2) Appreciation:

The second way we block abundance is by not appreciating what we do have. Many of us judge where we are as not enough and feel we don’t deserve it or conclude it is not our “lot in life” to have what we want. We cannot be in judgement and appreciation at the same time.

The trick is to be happy in the now, WHILE creating the vision of what you want in the future.

Happiness is not tied to attaining the vision, but rather the pursuit of it, as well as gratitude for what we already have. Happiness will accelerate your vision, but it shouldn’t be tied to it.

Breaking this pattern can be as simple as two “Abundance hacks”:

  1. Look for the luck! I met someone recently who constantly won prizes. Whether it was a slot machine or bingo, she won frequently. This fascinated me and I kept asking her questions until I could boil it down. As simple as this sounds, it IS this simple. She just looked for the luck. She never worried about losing or not winning, she just looked for the luck. What IF you were lucky? What IF it came easy? If you want it to be that way, start looking for all the ways you are lucky!
  2. Be perpetually in play. The Law of Attraction says that “like attracts like.” Your joy will attract more joy. You have control over how you feel. You have the power to control what you attract. I focused 2018 on learning how to have fun to increase joy and balance. Now, I look for the fun every day. Try it!

3) Impatience:

The final way we block abundance is with impatience. When we try to force an outcome (to make things happen sooner), we actually block the natural process of creating and end up slowing things down. Have you ever seen a driver speed past you on the road just to get stuck behind some other obstacle they couldn’t immediately see? Trust the process. Let go of the internal clock telling you “It’s too slow, something’s wrong.”

The biggest breakthroughs in my life came from accepting responsibility for the way things are, rather than blaming others. Especially when it comes to abundance.

Rich people aren’t just lucky. They expect to be wealthy. And so can you!
